Helford River Boats is based in Helford Passage, Cornwall offering marine and leisure services as well as their 1000-year-old ferry crossing service. Our task was to create a powerful website capable of promoting both the HRB brand as well as Cornish based commerce. The website utilises various SEO tricks to attract Google, Bing and other search engines. The site includes over 26 Cornish locations designed to help local businesses as well as providing an insight to the beauty of Cornwall.
Helford River Boats offer various services including their serviced river moorings based on the Helford Estuary. This has always been a very successful area of the business to a point where it was decided to create a dedicated website just for the Helford River Moorings division of HRB. The secondary site would also enhance the Google search success for the moorings business as well as offering many inter-site links that Google loves to see being implemented. Strict attention was paid to ensuring the cross-site branding etc.
The most challenging product we have ever promoted! Whilst an incredibly unique and necessary product, it has no specific SEO content or description due to its application! We created a long-term marketing plan with the initial objective of associating this automotive product with leading automotive marques. The old saying “guilty by association” could not be more applicable in this scenario. Indeed, as you will see form the Cabung website, this worked beyond our expectations. From the outset, we had to rebrand the business and target a whole new sector to sell to with all new POS, printed materials and brochures etc. We also arranged for cabung to attend selected exhibitions and events alongside Kent Ferrari to further broaden its appeal.
As one of the leading vehicle detailers in the Southeast, Marells had almost no online profile with a poor website and a lack of sales materials or promotional items to support their business. As with Cabung, my objective was to create a set of photographic images of specialist vehicles that Marells has worked on at unusual and spectacular locations. Our objective was to showcase Marells work avoiding the stereotypical ‘snow foam’ and ‘tape down the bonnet” images that so many detailers website use! Our approach was to show the vehicles in their completed format providing the potential clients with a clear idea of how their vehicles could look Like. Promotional materials were designed and used online via the social media accounts we setup for Marells. The whole project was undertaken on a very tight budget and was treated as a “start-up” situation. This project is a great example of having various clients combine their resources.
As a leading secure ambulance provider with fully trained mental health teams, Secure24’s objective to us, was to ensure their new website scores high on the search engines and reflects the professional structure of the company. Well, within just one month of releasing the new website, Secure24 scored six times on the first page of Google and continued to dominate the first six pages thereafter. This was also echoed with BING, with a staggering nine entries on the first page!
